Circadian Rhythm Scents

Did you know that your body has an internal clock that works 24/7?  It is responsible for organ maintenance and optimal health function.  When there is a hiccup in one of the systems, it can effect everything else.  For example, if you picture a conveyer belt at the grocery store, and you place your groceries on the moving belt, if it  works properly, it will stop when a product reaches the cashier end.  If it's broken, it will keep going and cause a chaotic overload, and everything starts running together and spilling over. Your body works the same way.  At some point after you put in nutrients, your cup runeth over and you have t empty your barrel of trash to allow room for more nutrients to come in.   Here is a chart of our circadian rhythm.  You'll notice, most of your eliminative channels are having maintenance during the night, when we should be asleep.  This allows for these systems to do their job, uninterrupted and with out stimuli that pulls them in a various directions at one time. Also, your "second adrenaline" kicks in around 11pm so your body has enough energy to gather up all of the trash and eliminate it when we wake.

The circadian rhythm can give you insight as to what is going on with your health on a physical, mental and emotional level.  For example, those having a hard time getting to sleep may want to look at their gall bladder function and integrate grapefruit into their sleep spray.  Those waking up between 1a-3a may want to look at their liver.  And on an emotional level, assess their anger issues so add in rose and ylang ylang to their sleep spray.

Our clock allows for energy, but also rest.  We need to balance the two to improve and manage our health.  For more information, check out our JennScents Holistic Aromatherapy Comprehensive Guide at www.JennScents.com.
